Tips before you order
To make subscription process more effective, you should take into consideration the following:
o What is the purpose of these plastic bags. For example, you should know how much weight (kg) this bag must hold up to, the size and contents of the products this bag will be meant for etc. According to this information we will help you to decide measurements of the bag as length, width and thickness (microns/my), also type of the bag. The most commonly used type is T- shirt bag that you can find at any supermarket or grocery store. This type of bag can handle weight up to 10-12 kg and most common measurements (mm) are 320 + 2 x 90 (width with two side folds) x 640 (length). Depending on material, thickness may vary from 21 up to 40my. At this point it is very important to know that due to trait of character of film’s manufacturing process, it is basically impossible to achieve 100% equable consistence of the bag. So it is ineluctable that the thickness of the material will vary and also a reason that in accordance with international standards, the thickness of the film is evaluated according to products weight, not direct measuring with micrometer.
o Material of the bag. Most commonly used materials are:
- PE-LD as low density polyethylene. Very elastic material, but it is not as hard, stiff or strong in comparison to HD-PE.
- PE-MD as medium density polyethylene.
- PE-HD as high density polyethylene. It is harder and stronger as well slightly heavier, but not as elastic as LDPE.
o Printing options and fundamental colors of the bag. How many different colors will be used (single-color printing or color printing) on one side of the bag or both.
o The quantity of the bags. The main principal is: the more you order, the better price you get. In general, the optimal quantity for printed T-shirt bags start from 20,000 pcs. Of course it is possible to order less than that, but then you must count upon significantly higher price.
o Printing plates. With the first order, the price will also contain the cost of printing plates.
