About Alu containers
Bare aluminium containers and rolls are the best food packaging solution, thanks to this material’s intrinsic characteristics. They are used for preserving food, cooking and/or warming food in traditional ovens up to temperature of 280˚C, in microwave ovens if the manufacturer permits so, also freezing up to a temperature of -40˚C. Aluminium foil acts as a complete barrier to light and oxygen (which cause fats to oxidize or become rancid), odors and flavors, moisture and bacteria. Beside this it has many other good qualities as strength, flexibility and durability. It is non- toxic, low weight, recyclable and corrosion resistance.
Bare aluminium containers are not fit to preserve highly acid and/or salty food. In such cases, it is suggested that varnished aluminium container should be used.
